#17 Family Proclamation

For those who know me, you know what a picture fanatic I am. I love taking them and scrapbooking them and viewing them...especially of friends and family.

Enter the dead space over my spare bed. It was screaming to be decorated. About a year ago I bought a cute little iron scroll and voila...an idea was formed. The time consuming part was picking out pictures, resizing, printing, cutting...

I wanted to put pictures of friends and family around the Proclamation, but quite frankly, my family is getting so big that I couldn't put everyone on there and I didn't want to leave anyone out. So I found pictures of Rhett and me that evoke a happy memory to decorated the frame. On either side of the Proclamation is a family picture. One of mine, one of Rhett's.

We're so blessed to have such great families. I'm so grateful that my parents were in a loving, happy relationship. It taught me to be the wife that I am. I hope that when I have children I can be as good of an example to them that my parents are to me.

I know you're envious of the fabulous bedding! See goal #31 on my 101 list!

Looks great--I love the scrolly thing!

You are right. Hot bedding. You should auction it off when you make your own!

Love the proclamation you made. Great job. I've been wanting to do that, so maybe I should get off my butt.
